Belling joins numerous other project management practitioners and researchers at the PMI 2008 PacAsia Global Conference, one of PMI's four global conferences each year showcasing the top thinkers and practitioners in project management. February 2006 Belling to Speak at Madison Club BITworks Principal Shawn Belling will present a series of seminars at the Madison Club (Madison, WI) starting in March. The seminars will cover topics such as the value of project management to business success, implementation of project management, and improving project management. August 2005 Belling joins Promega Corporation BITworks Principal Shawn Belling has joined Promega Corp of Madison as IS Project Manager. Belling will lead strategic IS projects for this leading bio-tech firm. June 2005 BITworks forms alliance with Kellan Group BITworks is working with The Kellan Group of Winnipeg. BITworks and Kellan Group will collaborate on project management course development and consulting. Collaborations will include work with UW-Oshkosh and UW-Milwaukee. June 2005 BITworks principle leads major ERP upgrade BITworks Sr. Managing Partner Shawn Belling leads completion of major ERP upgrade at Foremost Farms USA. The project involved the migration of Foremost's Oracle ERP system to the latest version of the applications and database. May 2004 BITworks principle earns PMP BITworks Sr. Managing Partner Shawn Belling earned certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMP certification requires substantial documented experience with projects, accredited education in project management, and the completion of a rigorous examination. Attainment of this respected credential adds to Belling's existing academic and experiential credentials as a project management consultant and practitioner. January 2004 BITworks principle joins Foremost Farms USA BITworks Sr. Managing Partner Shawn Belling joined Foremost Farms USA of Baraboo to build a Project Management Office within Foremost's IS department. Foremost Farms USA is a $1.2 billion dairy cooperative with operations in five states. August, 2003 BITworks Speaks at UW-Milwaukee Shawn Belling spoke at UW-Milwaukee's Changing Face of Project Management program, presenting a half day session on alinging projects with business strategies.
